Smelling ground

So far, we knew nothing
But had heard something
The old books spelt it with length
Btu we were careless for unknown strength

We were surprised
When someone fired
Shots from close range
And killed innocent of all ages

Now we came to know about peace
So far we were taking it with an ease
Many statesmen talked with golden advice
And ascertained full support to look into with promises

They came to know only when they were attacked
Their posture became naked
Nobody could recover from shock
The grief ran out of stock

So peace has become dear
With danger so near
No one knows when will strike the terrorists
Still people favor dialogue and openly insist

It is simple form of suicide
They are trained to decide
Only destruction and take lives
"The heaven is open for martyrs"

With such theory in mind
What shall we find?
Only deaths around
And terribly smelling ground
