Smile - Poem by arundhati sinha

Am i really doing this?
Writing about a smile?
Am i being too ambitious?

Drat! there...
I ask too many questions.
Expect too many answers.
Amidst the rally
I forget
What i set out for.

So, today i say
'To hell! ! ! '
I need no reason, no rhyme.
Today,
i smile.

Smile! not lies, pain, death, fear, defeat or betrayal but smile. To see the word coming from you makes me smile.
Funny that we should start writing again on the same day and that too about smiles, read chinese checkers.
I had thought that getting over you was be impossible. That poem would probably tell you why I am able to move on.
