Smile Still Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Smile Still

Rating: 5.0

To strangers
I show no anger
In whole day
As it is natural way

What are we?
Not free
We are guided
And confided

Almighty is for us
To live and trust
Our brethren
Without any concern

So we turn
To say in morning
Welcome dear
We are so near

Flowers may fade
But we shall not trade
Any ill will
But smile still

Hasmukh Bhai, after reading this poem I am reminded of Macbeth's observation, - One may smile and smile and still be a villain. Nice poem. KH Prabhu, Kumta, Karnataka - 581343 Jan 24,2015
