Snail's Courage Poem by Solomon Terlumun Tule

Snail's Courage

Rating: 5.0

Slowly it goes
Perhaps the slowest
But it moves unperturbed
Because it knows a destination.

As it moves
Trees sprout and rocks erupt
The days it goes
Making rooms for defeat
But it yielded not to the demands
Because it knows the destination.

Fishes swim and birds fly
Moving in haste as they pass in mass
Chatting and jesting all the way
Yet, with poise it never forsake
Because it has a destination.

Despise not how little a start
Build with zeal to reach the heights
If you know the destination.
