Snake In The Grass - Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Slithering in silence as you pass,
Tracing a narrow path through the grass,
Stirring no leaf nor twig on your way,
Beneath the cover of a sunny day,
Unannounced, you appeared alone,
Now, you vanish beneath a cool stone.
