Snake People Poem by Phil J Hambling

Snake People

Rating: 5.0

A den of snakes can writhe
Behind a friendly face
Laced with honeyed words
The venom of their intention
To curl their scales around your world
And impale you on concealed fangs
Then slither away smiling
To digest you slowly
