This was written to my and about my cousin Denise. She is one of the most wonderful people I have known my whole life. I know I have been blessed to have her in my life. If it wasn't for her I don't believe I would be the person I am today. She introduced poetry to me and I have evolved over the years as a writer. She lives a few states away and I love her so much and I want to share it with the world! I was reading poetry she wrote I was so overcome with emotion I wrote this.

You keep making me cry and wishing you were here.
Sometimes is is suffocating in knowing you are there.
I love you very much, each and every day.
No one could ever take my love away.
Sometimes I look at you for guidance.
I hate to have between us so much distance.
You inspire me to be a better person all the time.
Knowing you will be there for me is just fine.
