So Careless Yet Conserned - Poem by Brian Potthast

So careless yet conserned
With everyone around
So deep yet unaware
Of this structure I have found
So lost yet in the open
With feelings to wich I'm bound
So helpful yet needing
Some way out from underground

So conserned yet careless
With everyday strife
So unaware yet deep
In thoughts of my life
So open yet so lost
In this confusion rife
So needing yet helpful
To those seeking comfort with a knife.
