Never will I ever be,
The girl you said you know.
Never will I ever see
The point in hurting foes.
You tried to say one day I’ll snap.
I’ll loose all sense of hope.
If only you could see me laugh.
I’m happy, more than most.
Maybe once, I thought of death,
And ways to end my life.
All I know, is that was than.
And still I’m here alive.
You always tried to see the worst.
The worst there was in me.
Never did you see my worth.
My faults were all you’d see.
Here’s a thought you should have had.
A thought that would have helped.
Good will always conquer bad.
Inside me, goodness dwells.
Always thought I needed you.
And so I would pretend,
To be the girl you thought was cool.
I longed to be your friend.
Now that I can see the light,
I realize I was wrong.
Now I can embrace my life.
To you, I say so long.
