So Many Songs

So many songs have been sung
To tell that blessed story
And to me they never grow stale
I'll sing them on through glory
How Christ has died and rose again
And that He lives today
And Salvation through His precious name
Is still available always

The Spirit seems to energize
The heart's of those who sing
And blesses us within our soul
All praises to our King
High and Holy lifted up
Lord Jesus is His name
Yesterday.. Today... Forever
Hallelujah He's the same!

I love that Cross of Jesus
Where beneath I knelt
And when I confessed I was a sinner
So great relief was felt
The Holy Spirit bearing witness
That I had been Redeemed
All my past so swiftly forgiven
And it was not a dream

New life in my Saviour now
There's nothing that can compare
When you come to know the Lord
It generates such prayer
That others may come to know that One
Who sets the captives free
Find your hymn book and sing along
"Faith is the Victory! '
