So Many Things Poem by Gary James Smith

So Many Things

So Many Things

So many things we take for granted
Why even the very breath that we breathe
Not realizing it was given of God
So that we might literally live
For God breathed into man the brearth of life
And He became a living soul
O that we would offer back praise to Him
For how worthy is the Lord

All my being because of Him
My heart...my soul...my strength
He commands that we should love Him
Use our minds to that length
When you know Him you will love Him
It pays to find Him friend
For there's not a Friend like the lowly Jesus
Who can assure that sin will end!

In Him is life and joy and peace
A product of faith's transmission
The Holy Spirit our Comforter
When we allow Christ's admission
What a relief repentance brings
Giving God full allowance
To rearrange our lives for Him
Not only for now but its balance!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
