So Mote It Be

'Adieu Kevin Smith'

Another old friend dead.
The bell-toll of mortality pealed
ever louder as we gathered to
celebrate his life, in death.

There is something so poignant about celebrating life in death. so often those whose lives are being celebrated have been ignored during their declining years. Tara's right. We should celebrate their lives before they snuff out. As usual you used few words to say much. love you. Allie xxxx

Oh sweetheart. It's reading poems like this - not that there are any like this but you know what I mean - that lend that much needed reminder, that life ought to be celebrated IN LIFE! ! ! ! ! Intra vivos and all that. I'm sorry to hear of this J but it's a masterful piece nonetheless. (Where's my morning message?) t x
