So Sure Am I

So sure am I O Hallelujah
I'm on my way to Heaven
Only God knows of my departure
But I'm praising Him while I'm living
Sin has lost its former attraction
For I've found new life in Christ
His love for me is pure satisfaction
For He paid sins ransom price

You can come with childlike faith
For He's a loving Father
He'll lead you to understand the truth of His Word
If you'll come just a little farther
So many religions to be confused about
But God's not the Author of confusion
He'll show you that truth is to be found in Christ
And so is His great Salvation

You can be sure beyond a shadow of a doubt
That you're on your way to Heaven
For the Spirit of God will bring to your mind
The truth in the Words you are reading
I pray your heart will be broken and contrite
As repentance begins its arising
That you'll turn from sin and ask the Saviour in
Which to God will not be surprising!

I love to tell that gospel story
It's the greatest news on earth
How a Saviour came to earth to die
Who was born of a virgin birth
It's not a religion but a relationship
Praise God not just " pie in the sky"
But a personal walk with the Spirit of God
Who's the Lord Jesus Christ...so sure am I! ! !

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
