So Tried Poem by Sandra Feldman

So Tried

I'm tired of thinking,
That things can change,
That we can be better,
And things arrange.
We are our own worst enemy,
A sword in the sand,
That becomes burning,
Full of destruction,
When it comes to power!
And ownership of land!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I am against the unlimited accumulation of power and wealth which is what bad political leaders, generally do. They care not a hoot about the country, the people or you.
