Softly Falls Poem by JoAnn McGrath

Softly Falls

Rating: 5.0

Softly falls the light of day
Steal away the suns warm ray
Shadows of the evening cast
Rest my weary soul at last

Softly falls the light of day
Keep from harm and danger pray
Wake anew my soul from sleep
Inward strength is now complete

JoAnn, what a lovely rhythmic poem that just trips of the tongue. Beautiful Lil sis. Top marks and thanks for sharing it. David
