Softly Torn Poem by soren Barrett

Softly Torn

A bed of roses has many thorns
One can break one's teeth on a silver spoon
A sacred cow still has horns
Earthquakes caused by tidal pull of a full moon

Floating on a cloud of lightning
In the pink, cut down to the quick
Top of the world the fall frightening
On a roll, motion makes me sick
