Day awoke with a lazy yawn
But with nary a delay
Greeted the rain as it gently fell
Upon this Green Leaf World we call today;
So ready to complete its hours
While the rain continued in degrees
Glistening upon the Peony- moist
And the saddened Willow Trees;
As the day woud have it-flourishing
It grew more and more alert
Opening up to a certain sorrow shed
As the time flies- away from all hurt;
At last-the sky clears its weary clouds
Thereby chasing the grey away
But the wisdom of this changeable day
Has asked the Sun to come out and play;
