Solid Foundations Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Solid Foundations

Vague streets in dreams of Shelley
north winds have no formal invitation
seas tumultuous and redisent
challenged with sharp self assessment
crooked paths with weary plans
art is my cathartic lover
the right path seen
step forward into the light

dying and age is alright
meaning holds me together
I love the quiet
the moonlight and stars
the song of the wind
sun coming through the windows
old friends with faith
The lighthouse still shines

Solid foundations hold
