Some Facts Of Life Poem by George Bernard Hough

Some Facts Of Life

Are you a christian are you a jew
do you share my point of view.
Simply remember in all this melee
that you are just you, i am just me.
We have our own mind to figure things out
sometimes we wonder sometimes we doubt.
It isn`t our gods that control daily life
powerful humans create all the strife.
My skin may be black my skin may be white
that isn`t important we both can be right.
It isn`t the outside that matters the most
it`s what is inside of which we should boast.
We all must derive from a human origin
this makes us all brothers under the skin.
