Bravery Poem by George Bernard Hough

Bravery

Rating: 5.0

He appears from a hole with real intent,
acting alone? or was he sent?
He makes his way, a treacherous route
to see what this human beings about!

A tiny rock i`d laid in place
held with glue to a sloping face.
He never feared just forged ahead
I watched amazed at this hero`s tread.

The rock was reached, he climbed It`s face
and searched around that strange new place.
Finding nothing down he came
retraced his steps back home again.

Would he report in some strange way
to a superior, who then would say.
'thank you for a job well done'
Your` a brave little ant my son.
