Something In You, My Friend Poem by Hebert Logerie

Something In You, My Friend

There is something
In you, my friend, that attracts me
Like the spring in pink
Like the most beautiful smile.

I drive myself berserk
This thing dominates me
Sometimes, I feel stupid
I want to throw myself in the pool.

I realize that I love you
You are the cool wind that sows
And the air that I breathe.

I cannot live without your smile
Darling, you are my moon and my sun
At your sight, I feel like I'm flying in heaven.
