Sometimes Poem by Richard Jarboe

Sometimes

Sometimes I am, when I'm thinking I am not,
Sometimes I cold, when I'm sure I'm getting hot,
Sometimes I'm found when I'm thinking I am so lost,
Sometimes I'm caught, thinking 'bout being tossed.

Sometimes I do, when I'm sure I think I don't,
Sometimes I will when I'm sure I think I won't,
Sometimes I do wonder what might be the point,
And sometimes it's time to get out of this joint.

Sometimes I see when I'm sure I'm going blind,
Sometimes I'm cruel when I think I am so kind,
Sometime drinking coffee, I think 'bout drinking tea,
Sometimes I'm in a cage, thinking I am so free.
