Song In Green Poem by Clive Culverhouse

Song In Green

Jack
a flash of green
play your jaw harp
along with me
we can dance
within the trees
and hear the ancients
whispering

woodland edge
oh woodland round
your hat is green
your tunic brown

Jack
you bring your arms
and set the fire
in nightly stars
become in smoke
we are as one
the wind, our cry
and never gone
