Song Of A Faun Poem by Tom Billsborough

Song Of A Faun

Rating: 5.0

Sapphire eyes,
Seductive smile,
Who were you?
Audacious girl.
Standing proud
Upon the shore
Singing loud
Your plaintive song
Above the raucous waves.
Were you human
Singing home
A mariner's safe return.
Or were you that immortal faun
Who wished to have
A normal life
Instead of your celebrity.
Sapphire eyes,
Seductive smile,
Who were you,
Audacious girl,
Who once so briefly
Was my dream?

Thank you, Sumit. I tried to make it like a song, rather than a poem. Hope it worked!
