Sing me a song
beg me for my mercy

kneel to your feet
ask me why I’m sad.

I don’t rightly know
I just have a feeling

something inside
feels like it’s betrayed.

I just want to know
why can’t you trust me?

Don’t touch me
Don’t speak my name

Nothing you do
can win back this friend

For everything I have built
has shattered
and crumpled
all because you didn’t trust me.

And now I that I have figured out
what you have been hiding
I feel empty
