Sonnet 24, Break Away... Poem by Peter S. Quinn

Sonnet 24, Break Away...

Break away from your average way of drive,
Give something from your self that's worth;
Good times from the past again will arrive,
If to something special, you will give birth.
Your love will be the step to your reception,
And every feature you from this proceed;
There is no chance in doing wrong deception,
If there is in you none of any greed.
Remember: only if your needs are simple and plain,
There is no end in love or giving care;
What is crystal clear never is with stain,
For the grace of divine gestures, is in there.
If you can not shine and be up there close,
You wither away like a garden rose.
