You are in bed for heart ailment, right now;
You will be better when the morrow dawns;
God’s blessings are upon you and His love;
You will see many more wonderful morns!
Life-giver God has plans for you unknown;
Life-carer God will heal the body’s wounds;
Life-breather God will not leave you alone;
Life-extender God gives you suns and moons!
You don’t worry then, God’s our Master great;
He will not forsake nor abandon us;
The present strife will have to soon abate;
The pain will vanish followed by more bliss!
‘Get well soon! ’ Brother-in-law, we all pray;
The day of healing is not far away!
Fondly dedicated to my eldest brother-in-law,
Mr. Lourdurajan, Retd Auditor, Chennai
