Sonnet: My Poetry’s New Mission - Poem by Dr. A.Celestine Raj Manohar M.D.,

My Poetry has reached a happy state!
A missionary zeal, it has infused;
Perhaps, it could change many others’ fate
For good, whose minds and hearts remain confused.

Invigorate my pen much more, O God!
And let its magic ink become new words,
And let it change the hearts of men from clod,
Who seem to forget God and go like herds.

Strengthen my Will, O God, I pray still more,
And let my mind’s eye foresee man’s new roles;
Let me prevent his ruin to the core;
Help me O God, from devils, save more souls.

The world needs more shepherds to tend thy flock;
Enroll me God: let me work round the clock!
