Sonnet: So, Let Your Birthday Be Happy Always Poem by Dr John Celes

Give praise and thank Almighty God this day,
When you had come into this world He made;
He made you perfect and wholesome from clay,
And breathed His precious life in pot thus laid.

So, let your birthday be happy always;
This human form God gifted us is rare;
He loves and cares for us and gives us grace;
God thinks endlessly just of our welfare.

May God then bless you amply upon earth!
As doctors, we are special vessels then;
God has a glorious purpose for one's birth;
He wants all souls He makes to reach heaven.

Let birthday bring you boundless joy and mirth;
Go, sing and dance with gladness for your birth.
