Sounds Around Us Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Sounds are all around us in many different pitches and rhythms,
telling us to wake up by our alarm clocks, fire engines and
ambulances, police and fire drills, some of the more important
ones in our lives.

Others take into consideration that sound of wind, rain, dust
storms, splashing in and jumping in puddles and swimming pools.
we're bombarded daily by numerous sounds.

Some we block our, others annoy us, the best sounds of all are
through voices singing, music and its rhythms, all pleasant and
enjoyable for the most part.
