Sparing Mainland Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Sparing Mainland

We were told to be alert
From the cyclone next
We witnessed heavy fall
Now another call

Nature plays havoc
From its master stroke
To remind human to be aware
And never dare

Why natural path be obstructed?
So water does not find place to be flowed
Why at all nature be challenged?
And give reason to be outraged

Nobody is happy
To get worry
For colossal losses
With so many demises

Let us wish and pray
That cyclone drifts away
Sparing mainland
From rain and heavy wind
