Speak America - Poem by Antonio Liao

oh! the fountain of youth come now and
conquer the millennium, here again implant
the fashion of freedom; amidst every
discovery in the land of enlightenment, sit
off the Western horizon of where the eyes
wanting to see

great pleasure I wait is my guide, the
existing time leads the beats to forward the
heart that desire, for the end is but a start of
the line, of where every nothing is just a hold
on to catch the vision to dream, in the realm
of each beginning the prize will comes

listen patiently the offspring of hope
who lives amongst the youth of the hay, speak
dear silent of the Bees for the glad tiding of
the blooming flower waits the Butterfly to fly
and let the fertile soil ambit that glorious liberty,
as it touches the spring of life, gain of no pain
waits n that day

speak glorious America, the world
passionately listen of what meant to live and
paddle in the dawn of scented history of
package century; keep always the unforgettable
promise, that once we where strangers in the
foreign land

for every step I walk has kept my promise; that
turning back of where I begun, leads me to the
promise land I’ll go......
