Speak To Me Of Honesty
Speak to me of honesty,
And unremitting truth.
Tell me all of history;
Its never-ending youth.
Therein lies that bubble over
And secrets lost at any cost.
Names wrapped up in clover,
Their faces now forever lost.
How war would wound
And sour battles scar.
Our faith impugned,
We deny what we are.
