Spider Slayer Poem by Ray Lucero

Spider Slayer

She donned petite cover-alls of black
(To brave dark place 'neath the house)
When black widow walked 'cross her hand
Raised a ball-peen hammer, and...
The hapless widow she did whack!
'Take that you pesky louse'
