Spilling Blood From The Cradle Of Life Poem by Richard Wlodarski

Spilling Blood From The Cradle Of Life

Spilling Blood From The Cradle Of Life

With a stroke of his brush
He's painted them ENEMY
Devoid eyes blinded by hate
Couldn't see past their mercy
He heard his ears listening
To the sounds of the rival
His mouth roaring like a lion
Devouring innocent cubs
His hands woven into fists punching air
Empty words missing the intended target
Now sniffing stale air fighting for his life
His taste for victory crushing all that lives
Forthwith spilling blood from the cradle of life
Making a mockery of all that's human
