Spring Break Poem by Juan Olivarez

Spring Break

A roman orgy,
For all to see.
Debauchery running rampant,
Wine, Women, song.
Morals stuffed in suitcases,
And left to fester.
All in the name,
Of fun.
That ancient blood thirsty god,
Named fun.
Young women,
Baring their souls,
And their bodies,
For all the world to see.
Young men, (and for that matter, young women too)
Crawling,
In their own vomit.
All in the name of fun.
The word decency is now extinct.
Spring break rules,
God help us.
