Spring Dances In The Rain Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Spring Dances In The Rain

Spring dances and
Does cartwheels
In the rain
With such joy.
Her daffodils dazzle,
Faces upturned to
Catch this nectar of nature.
Her sisters throw kisses;
Roses grow stronger waiting
To be in bloom...
Every living plant sighs in relief,
Spring is here!
The people complain about the rain but
Springs sings a glad song, knowing
In days to come, she will be radiant
In gardens near and far.

Beautiful concept. Lovely writing, too many forget the life that the rain creates. Great message, I love this.
