not many more days, not many more days,
spring is at the doorstep!
white is still the dominant colour,
all around me - everywhere!
someone shovelling the driveway,
with a red coat on, and a frustrated demeanour,
the sunshine is deceiving,
it didn't bring the warmth people are craving,
the tall evergreen is stoic as usual,
winter blue couldn't not make her sadder!
a part of the hardened lawn gets the sunshine,
the other part probably cries in despair!
tulips, hydrangea, jasmine, rose -
they must be feeling so impatient like I do!
be back, Canadian Geese, when will you?
turning the bare branches of maple to full!
you, you have done this again!
blessed me with
memories of a few golden days,
my heart is full of sunshine,
so much so that
I don't mind sharing
the heavenly bliss with everyone!
