it was a strikingly strange day! it rained pitter patter in the morning, it rained drip drop in the afternoon, but it did not rain at all in between!
ruby-red sun was up, mellifluous birds started chirping, I felt I could rest in warmth of the magnificent sun, and watch my demure white jasmine. it looked so elegant like a ravishing bride, waiting with beating heart for her beloved to arrive. pretty bridesmaids were the frolicking tulips in gorgeous red and yellow outfit.
it was a strange day, but it was a perfect day with the full-throated robins crooning a magical sonata, the fresh rain-showered green lawn to tread, as soft as blushing petals of rose.I am sure my jasmine felt she had nothing more to ask for!
A very beautiful poem. The flow of lines is amazing. 'Strange day but perfect day'.. is very well said. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely poem. Brings the memories of these kind of days alive. We just wonder on those days where did the clouds disappear in between rains.
Thank you, Savita. A beautiful observation!
