If there be two of them tell me —
The root of all the fuss that be,
Two blinds when waltz, dance driven,
Who on whom will get smitten?

Given here under is the original couplet in Hindi along with its transliteration in English Roman.
दूजा हैं तो बोलिये, दूजा झगड़ा सोहि,
दो अंधों के नाच मे, का पै काको मोहि।
Dūjā hai to boliye, dūjā jhagađā sohi,
Do andhon ke nācha mein, kā pai kāko mohi.
Tell me if God is not one alone and same, whatso be the religion. But in this funny world it is not so. And therein all the quarrels begin, all differences, all disputes. Yet alas this would go on. Why? It is as if in a dance of two blinds, who on whom will fall in love?
Topic: dance, blind, gods
