Kabeer says, to know Him
May straight and simple seem—
One need know Him first hand,
Not retold second hand to no end,
Yet, whoso wise I see
From doubt scarce is he free.

Given below is the original couplet in Hindi along with its translireation in English Roman.
बूझ सरीखी बात हैं, कहा सरीखी नाहि,
जेते ज्ञानी देखिये, तेते संसै माहि।
Būjh sarīkhī bāt hai, kahā sarīkhī nāhi,
Jete jñānī dekhiye, te te samse māhi.
If it is a matter about God, it is meant to understand and experience, not to narrate and debate. It is a matter of heart, not intellectual art of head. And yet alas, many a so-called learned and wise seem to be in utter confusion and doubt.
Topic: God, heart

I would like to translate this poem
so, it's impossible to judge the knowledge of heart by the knowledge of book.
