Dealt not ye have with inner deity,
Talking still of outer so many,
Voice within once ye find
Yon of words, all the mind,
Oneness everywhere would ye see.

Given below is the original couplet in Hindi along with its translireation in English Roman.
भीतर तो भेदा नहीं, बाहिर कथै अनेक,
जो पाई भीतर लखि परै, भीतर बाहर एक।
Bhītar to bhedā nahīn, bāhir kathe anek,
Jo pāī bhītar lakhi parai, bhītar bāhar ek.
Never is the inner being ever explored, where God is only but one. Yet, people see Him as many. The day a man transcends all the differences, intellectual opinions and what not, and finds Him— the in-dwelling deity, inside and outside become the same.
Topic: god, one, many
