The fully filled feels empty,
The empty feels a plenty,
O go yon this mindset,
Far, filled-unfilled to get,
Or what else knowing Him be?

Given below is the original couplet in Hindi along with its translireation in English Roman.
भरा होये तो रीतै, रीता होये भराय,
रीता भरा ना पाइये, अनुभव सोयी कहाय।
Bharā hoye to rītai, rītā hoye bharāye,
Rītā bharā nā pāiye, anubhav soyī kahāye.
The fully filled may be empty, and empty, fully filled. A wealthy man may be a pauper, a pauper, a moneyed man. Once He dwells within, there's nothing full, nor yet empty. The heart filled with His presence is never empty. It is always fully filled. One has once experienced Him, a man filled to the full with knowledge of books gets emptied; and one empty with ignorance feels fullness within.
Topic: god, empty, full
