Presence of atman is when felt,
Pain-pleasure, joy-sorrows get melt,
In steady state does one camp
Like a spark-less painted lamp,
And end to all debates is spelt.

आतम अनुभव जब भयो, तब नहि हर्श विशाद,
चितरा दीप सम ह्बै रहै, तजि करि बाद-विवाद ।
Ātam anubhav jab bhayo, tab nahi harsha vishād,
Chitarā dīpa sam habai rahe, taji kari vāda-vivāda.

The presence of God is when felt in the heart within, joys and sorrows, pleasure and pain feel the same. One feels equanimity whatso happens, much like the flame of a painted lamp (unaffected by breeze) . He is in a steady state of being. All the debates, opinions, varied views come to an end.
