Stagnation Poem by Jinnuraine Jaigirdar

Stagnation

I am entangled in a unique limitation,
As far as I see the way forward,
I stand immobile in a motionless stagnation;
I am bewildered by an indomitable shortsightedness,
As far as my vision find distance,
The people around me cover the vision with sadness;
I am silent in the cruelty of a worldly conscience,
As much as I talk about scholarship,
My wisdom cries out in cruel reproach, relentless;
Sometimes I pray in anticipation,
As much as I beg for forgiveness,
My pleas are disregarded as an inadmissible solicitation;
Yet every day, in my constant assiduity,
With concentration, seek transparency,
I don't want position of disrespect, I expect success in consistency;
I sacrifice all arrogance in infirmity.
