Stained Poem by Dislocated Heart

Stained

Stained,
The line around my finger,
white from the lack of rays,
yet it touches my heart deeply,
as it is slid back into place.

etched into my being,
your name carved in with stone.
the chambers of my heart,
crimson,
as I whisper 'don't let me go'

Torn,
as I hold on tight,
to the lasting rays of light,
tunnel narrow,
air gets thin,
colors a blur,
fading back in.

Stained,
The memories in my mind,
the feeling I get when I close my eyes,
the warmth in which you bring,
and all the littles things..

Stained with what I desire,
as I fall asleep tonight..
