Stars At Night Poem by Colin Ian Jeffery

Stars At Night

Glittering within eternal dark void of space
Galaxies, universes, billions of light years away
From blue planet teeming with species of life
Forests, oceans, mountains, continents all peopled.
More stars than grains of sand in the Sahara Desert
Moving ever outwards into engulfing darkness.
Trillions of light years hidden beyond the stars
With more suns with planets and moons circling.
Could life be possible out there or are we alone
Never to reach out and share alien knowledge?
Where does space begin and end with sparkling stars.
How was it created this wondrous eternity to behold
Making mind wonder and puzzle over many mysteries
How could life on earth exist if not for God?
