Stasis Poem by Hannington Mumo

Stasis

Time's swift-footed limps
In merciless advance leap;
Its dials unforgiving marching
To abysms of perpetual sleep.

Unresting genius her bosoms
Unsated by this hungered quill,
Amid restless throes quiver yet;
Unrequited in virgin reposes still.
