Stay Humble Poem by Mysia Hayling

Stay Humble

Rating: 4.0

You may think you are more successful than me
because you do a better job
You maybe married and happy
you have a family and a home.

But behind all your accomplishments
I bear no resentments
For I know Don't judge a book by the cover.
I am thankful yet no better.

You got money but no love
You got a home, no family
You got a career, but no life
You got friends, but no realness
You got fashion but no passion
You got links but no connnection
You got a degree but no humility
You got wealth but no sanity.

I am grateful for what I have
I will not envy your success
For I will stay humble and alleviate my stress.
For it is the key to happiness.

A nice poem with an appealing title. The last stanza is an eye opener.
