Stay Off That Hand Cart Poem by Raymond Farrell

Stay Off That Hand Cart

Rating: 5.0

Stay off that hand cart
The one the world's
Going to Hell on
They may stop
And offer you a ride
Try to lure you on board
Promise you the moon
But whatever you do
Even if you must live in rags
Tolerate being misunderstood
And work for your bread
By the sweat of your brow
Don't get on their hand cart
And join them
On their trip
To eternal damnation.
